Golf in Export

Export is a Westmoreland County borough in the foothills northeast of Pittsburgh, where the suburban fringe meets the beginning of the higher terrain that eventually becomes the Laurel Highlands. The borough sits along the Pennsylvania Turnpike corridor, giving it access to both Pittsburgh commuters heading west and the Latrobe-Greensburg axis of central Westmoreland County. Westmoreland County's golf tradition is stronger than its size might suggest — Arnold Palmer's connection to Latrobe elevated the county's national golf profile, and the county seat of Greensburg has long supported a set of courses serving the county's substantial population.
