Golf in Franklin Park

Franklin Park Borough is one of Allegheny County's northern North Hills municipalities, a community in Marshall Township's general area that developed with the professional-class residential expansion that pushed Pittsburgh's suburbs toward Butler County. The North Hills corridor along Route 19 and Route 228 has absorbed significant residential growth since the 1980s, and Franklin Park's position well north of the Ohio River gives it the wooded, spacious character that distinguishes the North Hills from Pittsburgh's inner-ring suburbs.
