Golf in Hot Springs

Hot Springs is the Fall River County seat in the southern Black Hills, built around natural warm mineral springs. Evans Plunge is one of the world's largest natural warm water indoor swimming pools, still operating after more than a century. The Mammoth Site, where scientists have excavated dozens of Columbian mammoths from a spring-fed sinkhole, is one of the most significant active paleontological sites in the world. Wind Cave National Park and Custer State Park border the community, and the southern Black Hills' sandstone formations and warm microclimate create a distinctive environment at the edge of the great grassland plains.
