Golf in Dickson

Dickson is the seat of Dickson County, a mid-sized Middle Tennessee city in the Highland Rim west of Nashville along U.S. Highway 70. The town occupies a transitional position between the prosperous Nashville Basin to the east and the more rural western Highland Rim, and has grown as Nashville's suburban expansion moves westward along the I-40 corridor. Dickson County's terrain is the limestone and cedar glade landscape characteristic of the Highland Rim — more wooded and varied than the basin floor, with creek drainages cutting through the plateau edge toward the Tennessee River.
