Golf in Rockford

Rockford is a small Blount County community in the Little River valley between Maryville and the Great Smoky Mountains, in the pastoral farmland that occupies the valley floor between the Appalachian foothills. The Little River drains the western Smokies, and the valley through Blount County retains a more agricultural character than the tourist-oriented corridors to the north in Sevier County. Egwani Farms Golf Course is Rockford's notable golf destination — a course set along the Little River valley floor that takes advantage of the mountain backdrop and the pastoral character of the Blount County lowlands. The Smokies' proximity, visible from the course, provides a setting that is distinctly East Tennessee in character.
