Golf in Cockrell Hill

Cockrell Hill is one of the small incorporated cities within the Dallas urban area, in the western Dallas County zone near the Trinity River. The community is surrounded by the Dallas city limits and is a small independent city within the urban fabric, adjacent to the Grand Prairie border and the I-30 corridor. The area is in the flat Trinity River floodplain and adjacent upland terrain of western Dallas County. Cockrell Hill is one of several small incorporated enclaves within or adjacent to Dallas that have maintained their independent status despite being surrounded by the larger city. The western Dallas County area has a diverse residential population. One course serves the Cockrell Hill and west Dallas area in the flat terrain of the Trinity River corridor.
