Golf in DeSoto

DeSoto is a mid-size city in southern Dallas County, one of the growing southern Metroplex suburban communities that grew significantly in the latter decades of the twentieth century. The city has a diverse population and a growing economic base in the South Dallas County corridor along the I-35E corridor. DeSoto is bordered by Cedar Hill, Lancaster, Duncanville, and Oak Cliff, in the densely developed southern Metroplex zone. The southern Dallas County communities have developed a commercial and retail corridor along the I-35E freeway. The terrain is flat to gently varied, in the Blackland Prairie zone of southern Dallas County. One course serves the DeSoto community in the flat Blackland Prairie terrain of southern Dallas County.
