Golf in University Park

University Park is one of the two Park Cities entirely surrounded by the city of Dallas in Dallas County, home to Southern Methodist University and one of the more prestigious residential addresses in North Texas. The community borders Highland Park to the south and is surrounded by Dallas on all other sides, maintaining an independent city government in the heart of the northern Dallas urban area. SMU's campus provides cultural and educational assets that contribute to the University Park community, including the Meadows Museum of Art. Snider Plaza shopping district serves the community alongside the university. The terrain of the Park Cities area is gently varied in the Turtle Creek drainage corridor on the north side of the Dallas urban core. One course, Royal Oaks Country Club, serves this affluent community in the Park Cities area of Dallas.
