Golf in Garland

Garland is a large city in northeast Dallas County, one of the largest suburban cities east of downtown Dallas with a substantial manufacturing sector and a diverse population. The city has significant Vietnamese and Hispanic communities, reflecting the demographic diversity of the northeastern Metroplex. Garland has maintained its manufacturing base longer than many Dallas-area suburbs, with industrial parks alongside the residential neighborhoods. The Lake Ray Hubbard shoreline provides recreational access to the east, and the President George Bush Turnpike has improved the city's connectivity to the broader Metroplex. The flat terrain of northeastern Dallas County has the Blackland Prairie clay soils and the suburban development pattern of the inner east Metroplex. One course serves the Garland community.
