Golf in Westlake

Westlake is a small, affluent community in Tarrant and Denton Counties along the SH-114 corridor northwest of Fort Worth, one of the highest per-capita wealth communities in Texas and home to major corporate campuses including Charles Schwab, Deloitte University, and Fidelity Investments. The corporate presence has been attracted by the community's tax structure and the upscale residential setting in the elevated Cross Timbers terrain northwest of Fort Worth. The Vaquero Club is one of the member golf communities in the area, serving the upscale residential population. The community straddles the Tarrant-Denton County line and occupies the elevated terrain above Lake Grapevine, with cedar and live oak on the ridges. Two courses serve the Westlake community in the elevated Cross Timbers terrain of the northwest Metroplex.
