Golf in Riverton

Riverton is a Salt Lake County city in the southwestern corner of the Salt Lake Valley, along the Jordan River corridor between South Jordan and the Draper-Sandy communities to the east. The city has grown substantially since the 1990s as residential development moved south and west from the Salt Lake core, and Riverton is now one of the more populous cities in the county. The Jordan River trail system runs through the western section of Riverton, providing a greenway connecting multiple communities. Riverbend Golf Course occupies the river floodplain on the city's western edge, benefiting from the cottonwood-lined riparian character of the Jordan corridor.
