Golf in Neenah

Neenah is a city in Winnebago County, set at the northern end of Lake Winnebago in the Fox Valley of northeastern Wisconsin. Twinned with neighboring Menasha, the city grew around the paper industry and is home to the headquarters of a major consumer-products company, with a historic district of grand homes built during the paper-era prosperity. Neenah sits where the Fox River begins its run from Lake Winnebago toward the Bay of Green Bay, part of the dense, golf-active Fox Cities metro. The lake and the river shape the city's setting. Golfers in the area find recreational and club courses throughout the Fox Cities metro. With Menasha adjoining and Appleton just to the north, Neenah offers a base for golf in one of the most golf-dense corners of northeastern Wisconsin, in the heart of the Fox Valley, where Lake Winnebago and the paper industry shaped the region.
