Anaheim Hills Golf Course sits in the Anaheim Hills area of eastern Anaheim, a residential hillside district on the grades of the eastern Orange County foothills. Anaheim Hills is an upscale residential area developed from the 1970s onward in the terrain between the flat Anaheim valley floor and the Santa Ana Mountains, representing a distinct geographical departure from the flat western portions of Anaheim where the city's commercial core is located. The golf course occupies the gently varied foothill terrain that defines this part of eastern Anaheim.
