Cottonwood Golf Club

Cottonwood Golf Club is in Rancho San Diego, an unincorporated San Diego County community east of El Cajon in the Spring Valley area. The Sweetwater River drainage runs through the surrounding terrain, and the Jamacha Valley lies to the south toward the Otay Mountains. State Route 94 connects the area to downtown San Diego to the west, and Rancho San Diego Boulevard connects the community to El Cajon. The terrain features the inland chaparral and oak woodland characteristic of eastern San Diego County.
