Golf in Rancho San Diego

Rancho San Diego is an unincorporated community in San Diego County east of El Cajon in the East County, in the valley terrain between the El Cajon Valley and the Jamul hills. The community occupies a flat to gently varied area in San Diego County's East County, where residential development has spread from the main El Cajon-La Mesa urban area eastward. San Diego County's East County communities, including Rancho San Diego, have grown as residential areas for workers commuting to San Diego. The community has a commercial area along Jamacha Road and is primarily residential. State Route 94 provides the main highway access, connecting the community to downtown San Diego to the west and to the rural South County to the east.
