Foothill Golf Course

Foothill Golf Course sits near the Sacramento-Placer County boundary, in the lower foothill terrain at the eastern edge of the Sacramento metropolitan area. This transitional zone at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills is where the flat Central Valley floor begins to gain elevation toward Auburn and the western Sierra. The Interstate 80 corridor connecting Sacramento to the foothill cities of Roseville and Rocklin has seen extensive suburban development in recent decades, and the golf facility sits in this growth corridor between the dense Sacramento urban core and the mature foothill communities to the northeast.
