Cherry Island Golf Course

Cherry Island Golf Course sits in Elverta, an unincorporated community in northern Sacramento County along the American River corridor. Elverta occupies the flat agricultural valley terrain between North Highlands and the American River, in a rural-to-suburban transitional zone north of the main Sacramento metro development. The surrounding area retains a semi-rural character with agricultural land and orchards coexisting alongside the residential development that has expanded northward from the Sacramento urban core.
