Gavilan Golf Course

Gavilan Golf Course sits in Gilroy at the southern end of Santa Clara County, in the lower foothills of the Gavilan Range east of the main Gilroy commercial center. Gilroy is the gateway to the Santa Clara Valley from the south, where the valley floor is at its narrowest before opening northward toward San Jose. The course occupies the foothill terrain above the city, in the oak woodland and chaparral environment that covers the lower slopes of the range separating Santa Clara County from the San Benito Valley to the east.
