Los Amigos Golf Course sits in Downey, a mid-sized city in the Southeast Los Angeles subregion of Los Angeles County. Downey is in the lower San Gabriel River corridor, bordered by Norwalk, Paramount, Bellflower, and Lakewood in the flat alluvial terrain southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
