Wawona Golf Course

Wawona Golf Course sits in the Wawona area of Yosemite National Park in Mariposa County, at roughly 4,000 feet of elevation in the Sierra Nevada. Wawona is the southern gateway community within the national park, positioned along the South Fork of the Merced River before it descends toward the main Yosemite Valley to the north. The golf course occupies a meadow clearing in the Sierra Nevada forest, making it one of the more distinctive golf venues in California. The course operates during the summer season as part of the Wawona Hotel complex within the park.
