Detroit Golf Club is a par-72 course in Detroit, MI.

Detroit Golf Club is one of the most historically significant golf institutions in Michigan and one of the oldest clubs in the Midwest, founded in 1899 and home to two Donald Ross championship courses that have hosted the US Open—in 1916 and 1954—and the Ryder Cup. The North and South courses were developed in the Palmer Park neighborhood of northwest Detroit, and the club has maintained its position as a private institution of the highest distinction through more than a century of change in the city around it. Detroit Golf Club represents the most distinguished layer of private golf in Michigan, a club whose two Ross courses and its history of championship golf place it in the company of the great American clubs regardless of the economic and social transformation that has characterized the city since the club's founding.
