Red Fox Run is in K.I. Sawyer, Marquette County, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. K.I. Sawyer was a Strategic Air Command air force base that was closed in 1995 under BRAC and converted to a civilian airport and mixed-use community. The former base is in Marquette County south of the city of Marquette, and the site now hosts industrial users, the Sawyer International Airport, and recreational facilities including golf. Marquette County is the largest and most populated county in the UP, centered on the city of Marquette on Lake Superior.
