Hobble Creek Golf Course follows the canyon floor of Hobble Creek in Springville's upper watershed, a narrow valley in the Wasatch foothills east of the main Utah Valley corridor. The 18-hole Par 71 layout winds along the creek bottom, with canyon walls and oak brush framing the fairways throughout the round. The course is operated by the city of Springville and offers a distinctly canyon-country feel unlike the open valley-floor layouts of Provo and Orem below. Autumn color on the canyon walls — maple and scrub oak turning orange and red in October — gives the course a seasonal visual character unavailable elsewhere in Utah County.
