Golf in Hobble Creek

Hobble Creek Canyon is a narrow valley in the Wasatch Range east of Springville in Utah County, where Hobble Creek drains westward off the plateaus above. The canyon road climbs into oak brush and maple terrain that turns vivid gold and red in autumn, drawing visitors from the Provo-Orem corridor for hiking, camping, and picnicking. The golf course follows the canyon floor, making it one of the more topographically enclosed and scenically distinct courses in Utah County — a contrast to the open valley-floor layouts that define most of the county's recreational golf. Springville itself is known for its arts heritage, hosting the Springville Museum of Art, one of Utah's oldest fine art museums.
