Golf in Brewton

Brewton is the county seat of Escambia County in the longleaf pine belt of south Alabama near the Florida border, a small city in one of the state's more rural southern counties where the timber industry and agricultural economy have historically defined the community's character. Escambia County's position at the southern edge of Alabama, adjacent to the Florida panhandle, gives it an economic and cultural orientation that shares elements of both the Alabama coastal plain tradition and the North Florida character of the adjacent communities across the state line.
