Golf in Andalusia

Andalusia is the county seat of Covington County in the wiregrass region of southeast Alabama, a small city in one of the state's most distinctly agricultural and rural landscapes. The wiregrass region takes its name from the wire grass plant that once characterized the longleaf pine-wiregrass ecosystem of the coastal plain before European settlement, and Covington County's agricultural economy—peanuts, cotton, and timber—reflects the productive but modest character of the region's economy.
