Golf in Apache Junction

Apache Junction is a city in eastern Maricopa County at the base of the Superstition Mountains, in the dramatic desert terrain east of Mesa. The community is positioned where the flat East Valley transitions into the rugged Superstition range, giving it a distinctive setting with the dramatic silhouette of the Superstitions as a backdrop. Apache Junction serves as a gateway community for visitors to the Superstition Wilderness and the Lost Dutchman State Park, which preserves the legend of the lost gold mine in the Superstitions. The community has a mix of retirement communities, RV resorts, and residential neighborhoods in the flat desert terrain below the mountain range. Three courses serve the Apache Junction community in the desert terrain at the base of the Superstition Mountains.
