Golf in Concho

Concho is a small ranching and farming community in Apache County on the Colorado Plateau of eastern Arizona, at roughly 6,000 feet elevation in the high-desert terrain west of the New Mexico border. The community is in the broad agricultural valley terrain of the Colorado Plateau in eastern Arizona, in an area with a mix of farming, ranching, and Mormon settlement heritage. Apache County occupies a large portion of northeastern Arizona including portions of the Navajo Nation and the White Mountain Apache Tribe lands. Concho's high-altitude setting provides cooler summer temperatures than the desert lowlands, with the open plateau terrain of the Colorado Plateau stretching across the surrounding landscape. One course serves the Concho community in the high-plateau terrain of eastern Apache County.
