Golf in Eagar

Eagar is a small community in Apache County's Round Valley in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona, adjacent to the town of Springerville at the upper end of the Little Colorado River drainage. The Round Valley communities of Eagar and Springerville serve as the commercial center for the White Mountains of Apache County, at roughly 7,000 feet elevation in the high-altitude terrain near the New Mexico border. The White Mountains provide exceptional outdoor recreation including hiking, fishing, and hunting in the ponderosa pine and spruce forests above the Round Valley communities. The Little Colorado River rises in the White Mountains south of Eagar and flows northwestward across the Colorado Plateau toward the Grand Canyon. One course serves the Eagar community in the high-altitude terrain of the White Mountains in Apache County.
