Golf in Pomona

Pomona is a city in Los Angeles County in the eastern San Gabriel Valley, at the junction of Interstate 10 and State Route 71. The city occupies flat valley terrain at the eastern end of the San Gabriel Valley, adjacent to the Pomona Fairplex and the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona campus. Los Angeles County's eastern San Gabriel Valley cities, including Pomona and Ontario, are in the transition zone between Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. The Fairplex hosts the Los Angeles County Fair annually. Cal Poly Pomona is a significant educational institution. The city has a diverse population and a commercial corridor along Foothill Boulevard and the freeway system. Metrolink commuter rail serves Pomona.
