Golf in Tarzana

Tarzana is a neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles in the central San Fernando Valley, between Encino and Woodland Hills along the Ventura Boulevard corridor. The neighborhood occupies flat valley terrain in the mid-valley zone of the San Fernando Valley's southern residential belt. Los Angeles's Ventura Boulevard neighborhoods, including Tarzana, Encino, and Woodland Hills, form a commercial and residential corridor along the southern side of the valley. The neighborhood has a commercial area on Ventura Boulevard and residential streets to the north and south. The neighborhood name comes from a connection to Edgar Rice Burroughs, the Tarzan author, who owned land in the area in the early twentieth century. US Highway 101 provides freeway access through the valley.
