Golf in Topanga

Topanga is an unincorporated community in Los Angeles County in the Santa Monica Mountains, between Malibu on the coast and Woodland Hills in the San Fernando Valley. The community occupies canyon terrain in the heart of the Santa Monica Mountains, where the winding Topanga Canyon Road connects the coast to the valley. Los Angeles County's mountain communities in the Santa Monica Mountains, including Topanga, have a semi-rural character shaped by the mountain terrain. The community has a distinct counter-culture and arts heritage and maintains an informal rural character. Topanga State Park encompasses a large portion of the surrounding mountains. The community has a small commercial center in the Topanga Canyon Village area. Pacific Coast Highway is accessible at the western base of the canyon.
