Golf in Blakely

Blakely is the county seat of Early County in southwest Georgia, a small rural community in the southwest Georgia Coastal Plain known as the Peanut Capital of the World for the region's extensive peanut farming. Early County lies near the Florida border in one of the more rural sections of Georgia, with the Chattahoochee River forming the western boundary with Alabama. Blakely's downtown retains a small-town courthouse square character, and the surrounding agricultural landscape is dominated by peanuts, cotton, and timber.
