Golf in Cleveland

Cleveland is the county seat of White County in the North Georgia mountains, a small community near the Chattahoochee River headwaters and Helen. White County sits in the southern Blue Ridge at the transition between the mountain foothills and the higher Blue Ridge, and the headwaters of the Chattahoochee River drain through the county. Cleveland serves as the county seat and commercial hub for this mountain community, which has seen some growth from tourism spillover from Helen and from Atlanta retirees attracted to the mountain environment. Two golf courses serve the Cleveland area.
