Dunwoody is a city in northern DeKalb County that incorporated in 2008, separating from unincorporated DeKalb to form its own municipal government. The city is an affluent northern suburb along I-285 and GA-400, adjacent to the Perimeter Center business district which is one of the largest employment concentrations in the metro outside of downtown Atlanta. Dunwoody is home to significant corporate offices and a large residential base of professionals, and its two golf courses serve a community with one of the higher per-capita income levels in the metro.
