Golf in Jackson

Jackson is the county seat of Butts County in middle Georgia, a small community in the Georgia Piedmont about fifty miles south of Atlanta along I-75. Butts County is adjacent to Indian Springs State Park, one of the oldest state parks in the United States, known for its mineral springs that drew resort visitors from the early nineteenth century. The county seat of Jackson serves the Butts County community with a traditional courthouse square and modest commercial base, and the county has experienced some residential growth as the outer southern Atlanta metro expands along I-75.
