Golf in Kennesaw

Kennesaw is a city in northern Cobb County best known for its 1982 ordinance requiring heads of households to own and maintain a firearm, a deliberately unconventional law that generated national attention. The city is home to Kennesaw State University, the third-largest university in Georgia, and the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park preserves the site of a significant 1864 Civil War engagement. Kennesaw has grown substantially alongside the broader Cobb County suburban expansion and has a strong retail and commercial corridor along I-75 north of Marietta.
