Golf in Salmon

Salmon is Lemhi County's seat in Idaho's remote interior, positioned at the confluence of the Salmon River and Agency Creek at roughly 4,000 feet elevation. Lemhi County is one of Idaho's largest and least populated counties, and Salmon serves as the hub for an enormous backcountry region defined by the Salmon River Mountains, the Frank Church–River of No Return Wilderness—the largest contiguous wilderness in the lower 48 states—and the wild rivers draining it. Outfitters, hunters, and adventure travelers pass through en route to float trips on the Main Salmon and Middle Fork.
