Golf in Wynnedale

Wynnedale is one of several small incorporated municipalities that exist within Marion County's consolidated government structure, a tiny residential enclave on Indianapolis's west side that has maintained its legal independence while being enveloped by the city. The community and its immediate neighbors — Meridian Hills, Williams Creek, Woodstock — form a cluster of small independent towns along the city's north and west residential corridors, each preserving local identity within a county otherwise governed by the consolidated Indianapolis-Marion County metro government.
