Golf in Bernardston

Bernardston is a small Franklin County town in the Connecticut River valley's northern corridor, near the Vermont border where the river narrows and the valley walls close in. Crumpin-Fox Club serves this remote upper-valley community, in terrain where the river valley's agricultural bottomland meets the forested upland of the southern Vermont upland. The northern Pioneer Valley has a character noticeably different from the Springfield area to the south — smaller communities, more agricultural land, and a shorter golf season shaped by the higher elevation.
