Golf in Northfield

Northfield is a Franklin County town in the upper Connecticut River valley at the New Hampshire and Vermont borders, a very small community near the river's narrow northern valley where the three-state corner shapes the regional character. Northfields Golf Course serves this remote Franklin County community in terrain at the upper Connecticut River, in a town known for the former Northfield Mount Hermon school campus and the river's wooded banks. One course serves one of western Massachusetts's most isolated communities, in the Pioneer Valley's northernmost reach where the Connecticut River corridor narrows toward the two state lines and the season is shorter than anywhere else in Massachusetts.
