Golf in Cotuit

Cotuit is a village in Barnstable on the Nantucket Sound shore, one of the quieter and more residential villages in a town with seven distinct villages strung along two traffic corridors. Cotuit Highground Golf Club occupies the upland interior of the village in terrain above the kettle ponds and the Sound-side marsh, in a community where the combination of the harbor and the residential neighborhood's proximity to the water gives Cotuit a more intimate feel than the commercial mid-Cape villages to the east. Golf here draws from the year-round residential population and the seasonal visitors, in one of the more genuinely quiet corners of the upper Cape.
