Golf in Marstons Mills

Marstons Mills is a village in Barnstable, in the mid-Cape interior above Nantucket Sound. Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds Golf Course serves this community in the wooded, kettle-pond terrain of the Barnstable interior, away from the commercial development of the Route 28 corridor to the south and the old Route 6A corridor to the north. The mid-Cape interior here has a more agricultural and woodland character than the Sound-side or bay-side villages of Barnstable, and one course serves the residential population of this quieter section of the peninsula. The distance from the Cape's two main traffic corridors gives Marstons Mills a calmer, more year-round residential identity.
