Golf in Springfield

Springfield is Hampden County's Connecticut River city and the Pioneer Valley's urban center, the largest city in western Massachusetts and the cultural and commercial hub of the Connecticut River basin west of Worcester. Five golf venues serve the community — Fenway Driving Range, Fenway Pitch and Putt, Franconia Golf Course, Pine Knoll Golf Course, and Veterans Memorial Golf Course — a combination of practice facilities and regulation courses that reflects both the size of the city's population and the diverse range of golf access it demands. Two full-size regulation courses alongside practice facilities serve a large, diverse urban population across the city's residential neighborhoods.
