Golf in Westminster

Westminster is a Worcester County town in the Wachusett Reservoir watershed west of the reservoir, in the moderate upland terrain of the northern Worcester County plateau where the Route 2A and Route 140 corridors connect the reservoir communities to the Fitchburg-Leominster urban area. Westminster Country Club serves this community in the upland terrain above the reservoir's western margin, in a town whose combination of the protected watershed land, the rural character, and the modest residential population give golf a quieter, less congested setting than the suburban Worcester ring. One course serves a small Worcester County community in the Wachusett watershed's northern tier, drawing from the Westminster and Gardner residential market.
