Golf in Lunenburg

Lunenburg is a Worcester County town in the North Nashua River watershed north of Leominster, a mid-size community in the Route 2 and Route 13 corridor where the lake country and the moderate upland give the town a more recreational character than the heavily urbanized cities to the south. Ridgewood Country Club serves this community in the wooded terrain of the North Nashua watershed, in a town where the combination of Whalom Lake, the state forest parcels, and the residential character of the northern Worcester tier give golf a less compressed setting than the Worcester ring suburbs. One course serves a mid-size north-central Massachusetts community in the lake country.
