Golf in Hampstead

Hampstead is Carroll County's second-largest community on the York Road corridor between Westminster and the Pennsylvania border, a town that has grown substantially from its agricultural-crossroads origins into a residential community serving Baltimore commuters. Two golf courses serve Hampstead and the surrounding Carroll County corridor: Piney Branch Golf Club, named for the creek system draining the local watershed, and Oakmont Green Golf Course on the higher terrain north of town.
