Golf in Mitchellville

Mitchellville is a Prince George's County community along Central Avenue east of the Capital Beltway, one of the county's more substantial middle-class residential areas that has grown significantly since the 1970s. Enterprise Golf Course and Woodmere Golf Club both serve this eastern corridor, providing recreational golf for a substantial and largely established residential population. Prince George's County's Central Avenue corridor has evolved into a significant commercial and residential artery as the county's eastern sectors have absorbed growth displaced from the more expensive Montgomery County market. The flat coastal plain terrain provides golf sites that are accessible and practical if not topographically dramatic.
