Golf in Kennebunk

Kennebunk is a York County community with a layered character: the historic downtown on the Mousam River, with its Federal-period architecture and brick main street, sits a few miles from the beach communities at Kennebunk Beach and Gooch's Beach that draw summer visitors from across the region. The town's historic district is among the finest collections of 19th-century domestic architecture in Maine, and the Wedding Cake House — an ornate Federal-period home with elaborate Gothic Revival decoration — is a landmark known across the state.
