Golf in Sanford

Sanford is York County's largest inland community, a manufacturing city built around the Goodall Mills textile operations whose brick structures still define much of the downtown. The city has a working-class character distinct from the beach-resort communities to the east and the historic villages to the south and north. Springvale, the second village within Sanford, adds to the twin-community character that mirrors the larger Biddeford-Saco dynamic to the east. Two golf facilities serve the Sanford-Springvale area: Sanford Country Club's 18-hole layout on the rolling terrain west of the urban core, and Pine Hollow Little Par Three Golf Course, a par-three layout that serves recreational players who want a full round without the length of a regulation course.
